Glock G45 Reviews - This pistol has been on the market for a while, but I bought the Glock45 a month ago and have been dissatisfied with the pistol for a long time.
Now I want to give you my opinion on the performance and reliability of this pistol, I am very confident that you will not be disappointed with the performance of this gun.

Before I purchased my own Glock45, I only read about it online and in other gun reviews. After returning to California I had the opportunity to photograph the Glock45 and fell in love with it immediately. The overall feel and performance of the pistol is amazing, which I'll get into more about later, but after my first experience, I had to buy one.

9×19, the G45 combines a full-size G17 Gen5 frame with a standard G19 slider with front serrations. The depth and width of the serrations felt like they were in place, giving me enough grip to pull back on the slider or check the press. Another notable improvement is the Glock nDLC finish, which is exclusive to Glock. It is an ionic coating that reduces corrosion and scratches, helping to improve the reliability and performance of weapons. All of these minor upgrades make this weapon stand out in my opinion.
One of my personal favorites is the flared magazine well, which allows all shooters to insert magazines, and especially when doing quick magazine changes, this stealthy feature is hard to miss.
Like its Gen5 predecessor, the G45 has had the finger grooves removed, allowing me as a shooter to have more control over the gun, which I really enjoy. The G45 is equipped with a Glock Marksman barrel, a premium barrel with a more compact chamber profile. and more aggressive guns for better accuracy. Compared to other pistols I've used and trained with, the consistency and accuracy of the G45 is outstanding. The last touch is the ambidextrous sliding stop lever, which is a great feature for both right-handed and left-handed shooters, or if you need to switch hands for any reason for practice or a dangerous situation.
Going back to the beginning of this post, when I was lucky enough to shoot with a Glock45 for the first time, I was instantly hooked and it was all over for me. I'm a big fan of the G19, but I'm not a fan of grip length, but combining a G17 lower with a G19 upper is a smart move by Glock. Another reason I didn't go for the 19x was the paint, I wanted to move away from the military paint and style in favor of a pistol that would be more useful to me as a civilian, so I ended up going with that. The color of the G45, the flared magazines, and the overall feel of the weapon in my hands are fantastic. Feel, weight and balance are very important to me when choosing a weapon.
My First Glock (g45). Looking For A Right Handed Holster. Any Recommendations?
The G45 is a well designed pistol and as such is in high demand. As I said before, it's the most balanced pistol I've ever shot. Buyers of this gun are those looking for reliability, comfort, accuracy and capacity. The pistol feels just right, easy to use, and the 1+17 rounds are excellent. Three magazines are included with the pistol purchase.
I didn't shoot a more accurate pistol until I bought a G45. The grip size combined with the G19's compact slide gives the gun good recoil and makes it easier to keep the gun on target.
I haven't had any trouble with the pistol, one thing that has happened to me a few times is when I went to change the magazine and hit the magazine hard, it sent the slide home without firing in the chamber, Then I thought I had to keep practicing my immediate actions. This is not my concern, mind you, this is not uncommon in pistols.
This pistol is great and feels even better in the hand. There's plenty of room in the hand for even the biggest of hands, but it still feels compact.
Sidearms & Scatterguns
Deceptively simple, this gun is a hidden demon in my mind, it doesn't look flashy, but it will crush some of the best pistols.
If you haven't shot this pistol yet, go out and try it out and put a lead through it, I promise you won't be disappointed. If you don't like it for some reason, that's okay because it's not for everyone. I would recommend this pistol to anyone for its versatility and reliability.

For fifteen years I have carried a Glock professionally in my uniform and off duty. I don't know how many rounds are equal. I've photographed them in both instructor and operator level courses. I've shot them in games. I shoot just about every style in .45 and 9mm as well as some S&W .40 versions. When I say the Glock 45 shoots like a Glock, I mean it's very reliable and consistent.
Glock 19x [review]: A 9mm To Be Reckoned With
The Glock 45 is basically a slightly upgraded Glock 19x. I say "updated" because the feature set in the G19x caused issues that 45 fixed. The first problem is that it only comes in "Coyote" color. While it's a rather attractive finish, I'd prefer the black pistol for LE work for pretty much anything other than dirt crawling. The pistol should match the officer's uniform, and many departments prefer tan pistols with black ribbing.
The second issue is the silly lips in front of the magazine well. I know that if you have really big hands, lips can protect you from magazines. However, this is relatively rare on the long grip Glock 17. What the Leap has done is stop any newer Gen 5 magazines from being loaded into the pistol with a redesigned bottom plate. The new magazines are compatible with previous generation pistols, but not with the G19x.
The Glock 45 inherits the G19's sleeve-length arrangement and the G19x's G17 longitudinal arrangement, and comes in a matching black finish. The Glock 45 also has recessed magazines and follows the flared magazines of other 5th generation pistols. Internal components are similar to the Glock 19x.
This list of changes piqued my interest, but didn't really drive me to buy the Glock 45. The last thing that caught my attention was the forward-curved teeth. It's a very simple thing to do, but it's a feature that I find very useful.

I do a fair amount of dry fire practice. The forward curved serrations make loading the pistol more efficient. The forward serrations make it easier to check the press and make it less likely to knock down a round. Regardless of your stance on the frequency of media scrutiny, it's a fact of life when you carry a gun for a living. Finally, in the arena, there are times when you have to pick up a chambered pistol and load it. Swiping in front of a loop increases movement efficiency and can save time on the line of fire. I'm glad to see this feature now seems to be an update to the rest of the 5th gen Glock pistols.
My interest in getting a Glock 45 has increased dramatically. When our local store called to say they had it in stock, I rushed over to have a look. When I hold it in my hand, it feels like my Glock 17 Gen 5. That feeling was confirmed when I pulled the trigger. The curved front teeth are absolutely perfect, exactly what I expected.
A final check is that when I put the Glock 45 in the holster instead of the Glock 19 I carry, it fits perfectly. The G45 snaps into place in my appendix holster and now gives me a full size grip and 17 round mag with no compromise on comfort. The T.Rex Arms Sidecar Holster extends the handle inward just enough.
