It's only been around for a while, so I don't use it much. Regardless of the guns I used it on, it seemed to work well. It's almost hunting season and I can definitely see how it works after hunting season. Our friends at Patrol Tactical have put together a complete video on how to lubricate a Glock Gen 4 pistol. And while he says he wants to make a video about cleaning a Glock, we know there's a more pressing issue with cleaning this type of weapon. "Are your products safe to use on polymer frames?"
The answer depends on the product. Our Gun Lube and EWL are originally designed as lubricants, yet by the very nature of these products they clean, and they clean well! In fact the US Army technically classifies them as CLP (Cleaner, Lubricant and Protector). However, as we have developed these as fully synthetic lubricants, rather than those derived from petroleum distillate, they have no adverse effects on polymers, meaning they are safe to use on every gun part.
Only with our cleaning products, you should be careful. 725 Cleaner is safe to use on all surfaces of this gun and is the best way to cut through grease quickly and thoroughly. That being said, our carbon killer is not safe for all faces.
Carbon Killer is exclusively designed to work on metal components only, and while it won't melt the frame, it can warp if left to soak in the Carbon Killer. Plus it can damage many finishes, so it's best to use it only on carbon baked interior/metal components. (After using our cleaning products, immediately re-lubricate metal surfaces to prevent corrosion.
