After listening to their customers and receiving a lot of critical feedback, they made several changes to the original model designed for 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem. This rifle has been upgraded to fit the suspension and the cartridge is seated.
In this TFB review, we took the new Springfield Arms SAINT 300 Blackout AR-15 Pistol to see how it performs. We'll shoot it off and with the standard factory flash hider. This AR-15 pistol is very similar to the original SAINT pistol chambered in .223 Rem/5.56 NATO, which is no surprise. Some of the biggest changes are around the mouthpiece and handguard. One complaint or frustration people encountered with the original SAINT AR-15 pistol was that the trigger was in front of the trigger guard. This is only bad if you want to stop your gun; otherwise, no problem.

The current MSRP for the Springfield Armory SAINT 300 Blackout AR-15 Pistol is $989. It comes with a soft case, owner's manual, locking strap, and a 30 PMAG M3 Blackout Gen M3 magazine (muffler and red dot not included...would be nice, right?) .
Before you go to the range and get copper pouring out of that thing like a spring, you should always check and familiarize yourself with your gun; I did it too This seems like a simple check, but it's important. The first thing I looked at was the tube. If that's not the case, it's usually a bad sign of things to come. With the Springfield Armory SAINT 300 Blackout AR-15 pistol, it's locked up perfectly and perfectly.
Next, I personally look at the handguard (especially the free float) as well as the mouthpiece. With the A2 flash hidden, you'll want to check that it has a vent or ports that this shows. With the handguard, you want to make sure everything is tight. Nothing should have too much movement or play with it. This gun was perfect.
The gas stop felt early and true to the barrel. No visible obstructions were observed in the barrel or chamber. The trigger shot right. The manual cycling of the bolt carrier group was smooth and trouble-free. Later

From the looks and performance of the tests, everything looked good for what could be a big day.
When I got to the range, I had a buffet of Blackout .300 AAC ammo to shoot in my SAINT AR-15 pistol. All this thanks to Barnes Bullets and Remington ammunition. So, a HUGE THANK YOU to the great men and women at these two companies who helped make our day with this review for all of us.
I then put a silencer on the Springfield Arms SAINT 300 Blackout AR-15 pistol because that's what silencers do. If something can be deleted... consider it deleted. To start, I shot some Remington UMC .300 AAC Blackout 120 OTFB (Open Tip Flat Base). Recoil felt while shooting was smooth. It is very comparable to the suppressed .223 Rem/5.56 NATO. As the bullet was detonating, it had an explosion of gas from the intended ejection port. I have personally experienced the worst gas leaks since the discontinued .223 Rem/5.56 NATO, 9mm and .45 ACP. Another thing I really liked was how quiet it really was without the mouth going up.
All In Favor Of A 300 Blackout Pistol
Next, I tried a box of Barnes Range AR .300 AAC BLK 90 GR OTFB. I closed the magazine at home, flipped the switch and POP...POP...POP...click! Do you click? What happened? ... I looked in the room and there was still a round in the room (not released or released) and another round came out of the magazine and I hit it.
It didn't seem right. It was definitely murder. So I stopped the magazine and tried to manually rotate the bolt carrier group a few times to see if I could get it out. No dice... The shooting tool had hit the wheel, but it was too weak? ...I'm trying to shine a light through the hole without putting my face up and the bullet seems to be still in the case.
I have enough tools in my car to build an AR-15 and possibly a car, but I didn't have anything to remove this part. So the days of segregation are temporarily over.
When I got back to my gun bank after leaving the gun, I went to work. In a very few attempts, I tried to manually use the Bolt rider's bike, but like last time, I didn't have much luck getting rid of the mess. I then put in a cleaning rod and cup to push the wheel out. With a light touch on the palm, the circle fell like a huge object.

I then examined the circle and it appeared to be very colorful; remember moisture or water damage. I looked at the rest of the ammo in this particular box and the sides were very light colored. The wheel was very tight.
Then I looked in the room and it also had a little bit after the wheel had been sitting overnight (about 12 hours). Everything else about the gun looked good. The screw driver group after a closer inspection looked good. The Magpul magazine looked great. The feeding area was clean.
