H&k 45 Acp - The HK45 Compact Tactical draws on the rugged military line of the Heckler & Koch HK45 series of pistols to create the ultimate operator's pistol. The HK45 series of pistols (compact and full-size models) were selected to be the first firearms to be produced at HK's US manufacturing facility, so it is only fitting that this variant be adopted as the official pistol of major US special operations forces.
The HK45 Compact Tactical (CT) is the closest a civilian can get to a military pistol. The HK45 CT comes standard with a threaded barrel, 10-round extended baseplate, and an interchangeable sling that allows you to adjust the feel and girth of the pistol grip to suit your individual hand size and shooting preferences.
H&k 45 Acp

The HK45 series of pistols was originally developed as a candidate for the US Army's 2005-6 Joint Combat Pistol Program, so it's no surprise that the HK45 CT is well-suited for military, law enforcement and security applications. Each HK45 CT comes standard with an optional backstrap for a custom fit to each shooter's hand. The HK45 Compact Tactical also features an adjustable Truglo high-profile sight made exclusively for Heckler & Koch that can be used with or without a suppressor.

The HK-exclusive internal mechanical recoil reduction system reduces recoil forces on the weapon and shooter by up to 30%, improving shooter control during rapid fire and extending component life.
"O-Ring" barrels mean better slide lock to the barrel and improved accuracy. And the HK45 CT threaded barrel is made using HK's famous cold hammer forging process for superior performance.
HK45 Compact Tactical uses all HK45 magazines, from 10 rounds to 8 rounds of smaller capacity. Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 light and accessory mounting rails are molded into the HK45 Compact Tactical polymer frame.
The HK45 Compact Tactical is currently available as a conventional double/single action pistol (V1 model with a release lever on the left side of the frame) and a V7 model with a "slick side" LEM (Law Enforcement Modification). It uses HK's improved dedicated double-action trigger mechanism and has no external safety/deck lever. Other ignition modes can be special ordered or converted from existing V1 or V7 models. Includes a total of 9 firing modes, including a deck-only (V3) control lever mode on the Special Ops variant, and additional variants with a deck lever and manual safety control lever on the left or right side of the gun.

HK45CT (Compact Tactical) Pistols, .45 ACP - Threaded Barrel, Comes with Adjustable High Profile Scope and 1 Extra Back Strap
In the 1960s, Heckler & Koch perfected its famous tube technology with a polygonal profile. Conventional ground-and-flute rifles allow propellant gases to be expelled in front of the bullet as it is fired from the barrel opening. The polygonal orifice profile effectively seals the propellant gas behind the bullet, increasing bullet velocity. An additional advantage of the polygonal tube is wear resistance. Polygon barrels generally outperform traditional "land and groove" barrels by thousands of rounds. The polygonal barrel was one of the many radical design elements used in the HK P7 series pistols, and this same revolutionary technology is present in all HK pistols.
Advanced polymers, a radical new material used in the P9S pistol in the late 1960s, were soon used as key components and assemblies in various HK products, including the MP5 receiver of the 1960s. HK's polymer molding technology led to the introduction of HK's second composite-frame pistol, the futuristic VP70. Heckler & Koch pioneered the use of polymers more than 15 years before their competitors. Today, HK remains a technological leader in the use of innovative high strength polyamides. The HK45 was developed as an improvement on the USP45 product that was first released in 1995. Includes a changeable grip (back), Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, better ergonomics and more ambidextrous controls.

Along with the HK45 Compact, the HK45 was developed as a possible candidate for the Joint Combat Pistol (JCP) and Combat Pistol (CP) programs, which the US Army is trying to find a new service pistol to replace the 9mm M9. The program was terminated before completion and no gun was selected.

The HK45 uses HK proprietary barrels with O-rings for precise barrel slide locking and optimal accuracy. The HK45 barrels are made using the famous HK cold hammer forging process for superior performance.
HK's unique internal mechanical recoil reduction system reduces recoil forces on the weapon and shooter by up to 30%, improving shooter control during rapid fire and extending component life. Capable of firing a standard .45 ACP round through +P ammunition, the HK45 combines the accuracy, modularity, reliability and minimum 20,000 round life of the renowned USP45 series with the improved ergonomics of the P2000 series pistol. The HK45 can also be fitted with a threaded barrel for use with a muzzle-mounted suppressor.
Every HK45 comes standard with an additional back strap. Medium and small interchangeable backstraps ensure an optimal fit in the hands of most shooters and complement the ergonomically profiled grip.
An improved USP-style control lever, combination safety and release lever is frame mounted on the HK45 and provides quick access. The HK45 control lever has a positive detent and returns to the "fire" position after release.

Using the modular approach to internal components first introduced by HK to the USP, the HK45's control lever function can be switched from the left side of the gun to the right side to accommodate left-handed shooters (additional parts required). Left and right side mounted control levers provide safety and/or release functions as needed and can be mounted on the gun by simply changing parts. Control levers can also be mounted on either side of the gun if needed for true ambidextrous use.
Suitable for personal defense use, the HK45 is available or convertible in a number of variants with different firing modes, including double action/single action (DA/SA) and DAO (double action only). . The DAO mod uses the unique Heckler & Koch LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) firing system to improve the pull of the double-action trigger.
The extensively tested and proven functional HK45 series is a new paradigm in Heckler & Koch pistol design and is currently assembled from American and German components at HK's US manufacturing facility in Newington, New Hampshire. The Heckler & Koch HK45 (Heckler & Koch, .45 ACP) is a semi-automatic pistol designed by the German gun manufacturer Heckler & Koch.
He intended to arm American troops with .45 ACP semi-automatic pistols instead of the 9mm M9 pistol. Heckler & Koch developed the HK45 with the help of retired SFOD-D operator Larry Vickers and firearms instructor K Hackathorn. The Joint Combat Pistol program was discontinued in 2006 and eventually canceled due to the cost of rearming Thai American forces. The M9 pistol remained the standard handgun for the US military until the US Army adopted the Sig P320 in January 2017. Although the Joint Combat Pistol program has ended, HK has decided to make the HK45 available on the commercial market as well. As for the law and the military.

It has the same working principle as his weapon. Available in the same t variant as the USP. Although the HK45 is a full-size model pistol, considerable effort has gone into making it more ergonomic than the full-size HK USP in .45 ACP, including features found in the Heckler & Koch P2000. Includes extended double sided slide release, textured ergonomic grip with recessed fingers and interchangeable back straps to fit different hand sizes.
Modern grips and slings allow the gun to sit lower in the web of the hand, allowing for better weapon control and recoil management. To accommodate the smaller, more ergonomic grip, the HK45 has a magazine capacity of 12 rounds for the USP45 versus 10 rounds for the HK45. The HK45 also adds knurled grips on the front slide d, a Picatinny rail on the front of the trigger guard for mounting accessories, a polygonal O-ring barrel similar to the USP Expert and Match models, and the Mark 23 for a more secure lockup. - Increased slide and barrel and increased accuracy while cycling.
In 2011, the US Navy's Special Warfare Command adopted the HK45 Compact Tactical variant under the designation MK 24 MOD 0.
The HK45 is also the first weapon to be produced at Heckler & Koch's new facility in Newington, New Hampshire.
